Winter is underway and what better way to start the season then with this FIVE DAY camp at New Zealand’s biggest snow resort Mt Ruapehu!

The snow is awesome this time of year, good chance to score some freshies on freshly covered volcanic contours of Ruapehu. Long runs and amazing natural, giant skatepark like features are there at this time of year. Ruapehu also has dedicated terrain parks with features for all levels of rider.
If the weather is bad, FTB has its own rail set up down town, so we ride even when the mountain is closed! Off snow analysis of video footage helps improve technique and style.
We have PS3 gaming and the latest snowboard films to keep you entertained at our fully equipped lodge or you can just chill in the hot tub!!!

Snowpark NZ is one of the best freestyle resorts in the world! And it is not unusual to see international pros including Shaun White, Travis Rice, and Danny Kass hanging out doing some runs!
Snowpark is where you will be able to expand your bag of tricks learning from New Zealand’s best professional snowboarders. Campers are taught how to ride the large amount of features, built for levels from intermediate to pro. These include an Olympic half pipe, wall rides, table tops and a 32-feature box and rail run which is under lights for night riding.
We will be staying upin the snow at Snowparks Woolshed lodge, giving our grommets an experience they will never forget.

This is the classic FTB Snowboard camp. FIVE days of spring riding with the best professional snowboarders New Zealand has to offer, shredding the spring slush and seeking natural hits.
By this time of year all other resorts in NZ are closed but Turoa is still open this late in the season as it has the largest snow base in NZ, year after year. Spring is all about the laughs - Sunshine, soft landings in the terrain park, locking in those tricks you’ve been trying all season while also still being able to access Ruapehu’s vast free-ride terrain.
FTB will be involved in the “Volcom's Peanut Butter & Rail Jam” a fun snowboard competition for all ages, and an awesome camp friendly prize-giving with the Volcom team riders.
If the weather is bad we team up with Radio Zero and set up the Junkyard Jam! So we ride even when the mountain is closed. At our fully equipped lodge we have PS3 gaming and the latest snowboard films to keep you entertained or you can just soak in the hot tub!!! Oh yeah, BBQs every night!

FTB ELITE training is the next level in snowboard progression, operating out of Auckland, Ohakune and Wanaka for the rider who is planning a career in professional snowboarding.
We can arrange custom training packages with our top coaches to get you on the podium this winter. FTB can train you, mentor you and be there to support you during the competition season.
