About FTB

FTB is a Snowboarder driven and snowboarder founded company committed to helping young people enjoy snowboarding and the lifestyle, with FTB’s snowboard camp program.
FTB also helps progressive riders reach their full potential gaining sponsorship with rider management for aspiring snowboarders.
Registered as a company in 2005, FTB is setting high standards in promotions and product branding, whether it be event management, American style snowboard camps or (new for us this year) rider management.
The letters FTB have a long history going back to grommet hood where they represent a crew of young surfers and snowboarders. The letters FTB mean anything from Fun Times Boarding to any quirky things we could create with the letters (slogans that help us keep it real whilst growing up.)

This year

This year’s events will include up to six snowboard camps and the Powder keg Rail jam street snowboard event. As well as these, FTB is on the look out for other events to manage and promote.

Camps….
Primarily our biggest operation is snowboard camps, FTB’s camps are unique in New Zealand with the ‘live in with the pro’s’ concept (our camp hosts being the top professional snowboarders in the country).  We provide all-inclusive packages including transfers too and from Ohakune to ski fields. A lodge with backpacker style accommodation. Alternative activities on site if the mountain is closed include a 5-foot mini ramp for skating, a drop-in structure for our back yard rail set up (this is a mobile rail so can be transported too and from snow locations), all this found on one site as well as a spa pool!                                                                               We will also be filming all on snow riding that will be revved by the camper ant host’s at the lodge on the latest audiovisual equipment.                                                                                                                      

The footage can also be made in to a DVD for each individual camper

OUR camps are strong promotional tools giving company’s opportunity to brand there own camps and gain much exosphere thou our advertising and hands on working with a company’s product during our camps

Powder Keg Rail Jam…

This will be the third year FTB has been directing the North Islands premier snowboard and ski event encompassing the best NZ has to offer with the invitation only format ensuring we have top riders from the region and heavy hitters from the deep south. Riders Battle it out on an elevated scaffold structure covered with four truck loads of snow from Mt Ruapehu supporting two large rail features the exact type, top secret, to be unveiled on the night.
Gaining big exposure for sponsors is the name of the game having mainstream media such as MTV and the New Zealand herald screening and publishing the event.

The Future

 
FTB will be nation wide running camps in all snow regions on New Zealand. FTB will develop a number of Appealing packages for the international market, building custom packages for campers from America, Japan and Europe. Gradually our reputation will build as the number 1 camp/ tour operator for snowboarders wanting to travel to the southern hemisphere in search of snow. FTB rider management will be the company, larger businesses and marketing firms will turn to for promoting there product to a younger market. FTB will have proved itself to be the best snow event management and promotions company to run an event.
